Strangers, again.

>> Sunday, April 24, 2011

The most unfortunate fact about a relationship that doesn't work out, is the inevitable path both parties are on to become strangers. Many relationships follow a general path, through a set of different stages, one that brings two strangers together, takes them through a period of deep emotions and meaningful experiences, then returns them to where they began.

However, that stranger will never become the strangers the separated couple see in the streets. Experiences, memories, love, hatred, joy, sorrow, are all intertwined in a woven memory inside the mind of the fallen lover. These emotions cannot be thrown away or erased so easily, but shall remain and feed on the regretful mind. They will leave a mark, and that mark will define the person we will see tomorrow"

Blind Leading The Blind Charity Walk 2011

>> Sunday, April 17, 2011

Blind Leading The Blind Charity Walk was organized by Lions Club of Petaling Jaya to create the awareness of eye care among public. It was held at the Civic Hall Car Park Petaling Jaya on 17th April 2011. It was a 3 km walk where one person will be blindfolded and another one will be leading the way. As usual, anything about the vision, my uni will be participating. And the students, are compulsory to attend!

This charity walk actually taught us to value our eye and we are responsible to take good care of it. I have no regret participating it because I don't think that I will have the chance to experience blindness again. When you are blindfolded, you will know how 'dark' is the world, you are just able to sense everything through hearing. This is when your ears play an important role to help you detect things happening around you. The partner leading you plays an important role too!

However, it was a good opportunity for us to experienced blindness and of course, teamwork as the blindfolded one have to trust the one leading. I had fun but in the same time, I am feeling so exhausted and tired. I almost fall asleep while driving back. :')

Note: Something is wrong with my stomach. Been feeling unwell for the past 5 days.

Jogoya Starhill

>> Wednesday, April 13, 2011

Finally, the Jogoya plan was done successfully after being planned so long! Jogoya is having a promotion for Buy 1 Free 1 until 27th April. It was really worth as one person is about RM 50.

Being an organizer was not easy because you need to do all the job! Grr! However, a total 14 of us was sat together in a big room. We grabbed as much as we can, and eat all we can! Seriously, I was feeling so excited looking at the yummylicious foods. There were many sections, including the Japan's, Taiwan's, Teppanyaki, pastries and of course, my favorite desserts! So much until I hope I can finish them in that 2 hours!

Our room, No. 66.

Oysters, one of my favorite.
Desserts were superb!
King Crab.

14 of us.
Here are some dining suggestions:
1. If you have not consume any food for the past 5 hours, we suggest you to start with some warm dish to warm up your stomach.
2. After consume any dairy drink such as milk, try to avoid taking seafood.
3. Please do not mix up cold and hot dishes too frequently.
4. If you are allergic to seafood, we advise you when consume sashimi, oysters or prawns, please do not overeat.
5. For those who have tried oysters or raw slice fish, we suggest you to go bit by bit the amount eventually, as this will help your stomach to get use to the food and any unnecessary side effect that the foods may cause especially oyster.
6. Enjoy the food while its still piping hot, so that it can remain the freshness and the quality of the food.
7. For your health concerned, please enjoy your food in a right way to avoid unneeded effects to your body.

I think I have gained a lot of weight. It's time for me to keep fit. :'(

p/s: It was my first Jogoya outing. Thanks to everyone!
Next one, TENJI pls? :D

I miss my long hair!!!

Last year, I promised myself that I will not cut my hair short anymore. And guess what, I cut it short again! What to do? Sacrificed for my sis eh. She needs to cut a long hair and a short hair in order to graduate. But too bad Elaine and I both cut short, so she cant graduate yet. :'(

Well well well. When she cuts my hair off, I really feel like crying. But I hold my tears back. If not my sister will feel real guilty. Hey sister, you done a great job alright! A nice hair cut for Elaine and me. And I will keep my hair long again, bluek! You owe me one meal!

Update: A picture of me,

Signing off,
Sook Yee.

Finally, another hectic week is over. March was a tiring week because we had 2 internal assessment in a month. Bad schedule, bad uni. Whatever it is, it was kinds surprised that I eventually survived. As usual, I told myself, "study smart". What I have to do now is finish up the assignments, have some movies since it's been ages I been to cinema, and then grab enough rest!

God is always fair. When you are facing hard core moment, He will gives you some sweet ones. My friend is married! Attended his wedding dinner yesterday night. It was an awesome one especially when you got to meet friends of 8 years. Bunch of 8 years of friends making fun, screaming, yelling and getting drunk? : x Once again, congratulations Deric! :)

Hui San and Mickey. Mickey's having her 2nd baby.
